Warhammer Underworlds is a deck-based strategy game of skirmish battles set in Warhammer Age of Sigmar’s Mortal Realms. It’s full of action, clever combinations and tricks, and fast-paced gameplay. You’ll be able to get started right away with the four complete 32-card Rivals decks included in the box – one for Bretherin of the Bolt, one for The Skinnerkin, and two universal Rivals decks for any warband. If you wish, you can even tailor your own deck using universal cards from other Warhammer Underworlds expansions for near-endless strategic depth.
This set contains:
- A complete and concise rulebook for Warhammer Underworlds – reformatted to make getting started even easier. Wintermaw emphasises Rivals decks, offering new ways to mix up your games and keep things fresh and balanced. The riveting background material delves deeper into the icy Deathgorge, and the terrifying rimewyrm nests of the Wintermaw
- The complete Brethren of the Bolt warband. Each acolyte of this religious order from the Cities of Sigmar has been struck by lightning, and continues to seek fresh storms to prove their devotion to Sigmar. Quickly assemble your warband with five push-fit models, cast in light grey to stand out even when unpainted, complete with fighter cards and a full Rivals deck
- The complete Skinnerkin warband. Delusional ghouls with mangy hair, bone-studded skin, and vicious teeth, the Skinnerkin believe themselves to be royal cooks and fine gourmets. The ancient frozen corpses in the Wintermaw present a bounty of exotic meats, fit for the Summerking's banquet hall. With five push-fit models, cast in a sickly green colour, plus fighter cards and a pre-made Rivals deck, you’ll be ready to battle immediately

Wintermaw is perfect for getting new players started faster than ever with the streamlined rulebook and additional Rivals decks, and is ideal for bringing Warhammer Underworlds veterans up to date for the new season.
This box contains push-fit miniatures, which are supplied unpainted and require assembly – we recommend using Citadel Colour paints.
All orders are processed within 1 to 2 business days after receiving your order confirmation email. You will receive another notification when your order has shipped. Please keep in mind we're open Wednesday to Monday, and orders can only be packed/shipped during those days.
Pre-orders
Pre-orders will ship to arrive no earlier than the release day for that product. If you order any in-stock item/s alongside the pre-order, we will hold these and ship your entire order when all items are available. If you would like a stocked item sooner we advise you place a second order.
Domestic Shipping Rates and Estimates
For calculated shipping rates: We ship on a flat rate of $6 to Auckland and $10 to the rest of NZ.
Click & Collect/In-store pickup
You can skip the shipping fees with free local pickup at our brick & mortar store, 200 Dairy Flat Highway, Albany, Auckland. After placing your order and selecting local pickup at checkout, your order will be prepared and ready for pick up within 1 business day (usually within a few hours). We will send you an email when your order is ready.
Our in-store pickup hours are 11am - 9:30pm Wednesday & Friday, 11am - 6pm Monday & Thursday, and 10am - 5pm Saturday & Sunday. Please have your order confirmation email with you when you come.
International Shipping
We don't currently ship overseas or out of New Zealand.
How do I check the status of my order?
When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification from us which will include a tracking number you can use to check its status. Please allow 48 hours for the tracking information to become available.
If you haven’t received your order within 7 days of receiving your shipping confirmation email, please contact us at hello@novagames.co.nz with your name and order number, and we will look into it for you.
We have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

If your return is accepted, we’ll email you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. $10 ($6 within Auckland) will be deducted from your refund to cover shipping and handling. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on clearance sale items or gift certificates.
Event tickets
Event tickets can be returned for a full refund as long as you contact us to begin the return process at least 72 hours prior to the start of the event. Event ticket return requests made in the 72 hours prior to the start of the event will be considered at our discretion.
If an event is cancelled or postponed, you will be entitled to a full refund for your event ticket.
Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
