Combat Patrol: Adeptus Custodes +++Pre-order (17/10/26)+++
If you want to take the fight to the enemies of the Emperor, this box is the perfect way to start a new Adeptus Custodes collection – or expand an existing army – and save money compared to buying the kits individually. Led by an illustrious Shield-Captain, with a Sentinel Guard Sodality at their side, your infantry core is composed of elite, flexible, hard-to-kill units that are a threat both at range and in melee. Highly mobile winged Venatari add speed and disruption tactics to your arsenal, while a Contemptor-Achillus Dreadnought provides heavy fire support. When taken together, they form a complete army for use in tight, tactical Combat Patrol games of Warhammer 40,000.
This boxed set builds 11 multipart plastic Adeptus Custodes miniatures:
- 1 Shield-Captain
- 6 Sentinel Guard Sodality miniatures
- 3 Venatari with Kinetic Destroyers (can alternatively be built as Venatari with Verutum Lances)
- 1 Contemptor‑Achillus Dreadnought (can alternatively be built as a Contemptor-Galatus Dreadnought)
The miniatures in this box are easy to customise. The Shield-Captain offers a choice of a tall helmet or bare head.
The Sentinel Guard Sodality are armed with Praesidium Shields and Sentinel Blades. One can exchange their Praesidium Shield for a Magisterium Vexilla, wielding either their Sentinel Blade or Misericordia in their left hand. The kit also includes 13 interchangeable heads – 6 helmeted and 7 bare – 6 plumes that are interchangeable across the helmets, and 6 interchangeable shields.
The Venatari with Kinetic Destroyers are equipped with either Tarsus Bucklers and Kinetic Destroyers, or two-handed Verutum Lances. They can each take an optional Neutronium Cascade Mine on their hip, and 1 Venatari can be assembled carrying one of these baleful devices in their hand. There are also several interchangeable parts, including 5 heads, 3 tarsus bucklers, 4 jump harnesses, 6 left shoulder pads, and 6 right shoulder pads.
The Contemptor-Achillus Dreadnought is highly customisable and can be built in one of 2 configurations – the spear-carrying Achillus or the Galatus, equipped with a Warblade and Praesidium Shield. Both patterns are highly poseable. The Achillus has a choice of 2 spear heads, can be armed with 2 Lastrum Storm Bolters, Twin Infernus Incinerators, or Adrathic Combi-destructors on each arm, and has the option of a closed or open left hand. There are also lots of cosmetic options, including 2 helmet facemasks, 2 helmet tops, 2 sculpted shoulder pad decorations, 2 chest decorations, and optional pteruges.
These miniatures require assembly and are supplied unpainted.
All orders are processed within 1 to 2 business days after receiving your order confirmation email. You will receive another notification when your order has shipped. Please keep in mind we're open Wednesday to Monday, and orders can only be packed/shipped during those days.
Pre-orders
Pre-orders will ship to arrive no earlier than the release day for that product. If you order any in-stock item/s alongside the pre-order, or pre-order items with different release dates we will hold these and ship your entire order when all items are available. If you would like a stocked item sooner we advise you place a second order.
Domestic Shipping Rates and Estimates
For calculated shipping rates: We ship on a flat rate of $6 to Auckland and $10 to the rest of NZ.
Click & Collect/In-store pickup
You can skip the shipping fees with free local pickup at our brick & mortar store, 200 Dairy Flat Highway, Albany, Auckland. After placing your order and selecting local pickup at checkout, your order will be prepared and ready for pick up within 1 business day (usually within a few hours). We will send you an email when your order is ready.
Our in-store pickup hours are 11am - 9:30pm Wednesday & Friday, 11am - 6pm Monday & Thursday, and 10am - 5pm Saturday & Sunday. Please have your order confirmation email with you when you come.
International Shipping
We don't currently ship overseas or out of New Zealand.
How do I check the status of my order?
When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification from us which will include a tracking number you can use to check its status. Please allow 48 hours for the tracking information to become available.
If you haven’t received your order within 7 days of receiving your shipping confirmation email, please contact us at hello@novagames.co.nz with your name and order number, and we will look into it for you.
We have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

If your return is accepted, we’ll email you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. The actual cost of shipping (inc. GST) will be deducted from your refund. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.
If your item is returned in-store, no handling fee will apply.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Exceptions / non-returnable items
Due to the collectible nature of trading cards and the risk of tampering, we have a strict no refunds, no returns policy on sealed trading card products.
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like custom products (such as special orders or personalized items). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on clearance sale items or gift certificates.
Event tickets
Event tickets can be returned for a full refund as long as you contact us to begin the return process at least 72 hours prior to the start of the event. Event ticket return requests made in the 72 hours prior to the start of the event will be considered at our discretion.
Event tickets are non-transferable - entry to an event is for the registered individual only.
If an event is cancelled or postponed, you will be entitled to a full refund for your event ticket.
Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
